Ravenwood
A Tanyth Fairport Adventure
By Nathan Lowell

Tanyth Fairport makes one last pilgrimage in her quest to learn all she can about the herbs and medicinal plants of the world before settling down to write her magnum opus. Her journey is interrupted when she stops to help a small village and learns that much of what she knows of the world may not be quite as it seems.
This is not another science fiction novel set in the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper, but a fantasy set in a whole new world where magic is madness and adventure isn’t something you seek out.
Coming January 4, 2010 to Podiobooks.com.
We are all quite giddy to see this upcoming work! It promises to be yet another masterpiece of narrative art.
I’m on the edge of my seating awaiting the first episode!
Your first girl… Yay !
Awesome! Looking forward to it!
Cant wait to be sitting in the sun with a ginger beer and lashings of whipped cream exploring the new world.

I’m very excited about the upcoming Ravenwood… and I love the look of the site and music for the first book. Can’t wait to se what are doing to spin the Fantasy Genre into a new and exciting direction… with the signature Nathan Lowell twist!

I want to thank you for being one of my all time favorite authors. I love your audio books. The meld of the two make for the the most unique response I’ve ever had to a book. I’m awash with feelings of love and camaraderie. I love how you bring art and craft into the story and that is only one of the many layers of that you pack into your work. Your stories speak of crises and challenge and of an antagonist who isn’t in the story but may arrive later on, and that makes your writing come to life in such a clever and way I smile now as I think of how you add tension to your heroes lives.
I am painting now as I listen to this book. And an unexpected joy it is. I pray there will be a day when your work inspires other authors to copy you. I will hear words like homespun and hear men and women speak kindly to each other. oh what an indescribably wonderful joy it is to have your voice with me as my imagination fills in the rest. Your work is daring, exciting and filled with so-so much hope. We need more authors like you.
your loving fan,

I will be writing much more about the Lammas Wood. I think there are two more books in this introductory series and we’ll have to see what happens when we fall off the other side of those.
There’s also one more book in the Trader’s Tales .. that would be the *Share series .. and at least one more Shaman’s Tale to bridge the gap between South Coast and Half Share.
Thanks for your kinds words.
Awesome podcast/audiobook I normaly listen to scifi and horor type audio but found myself really enjoying this great book. Can’t wait to hear or read more in the series or new stories. Thanks for an awesome tale.
Have just finished Ravenwood, the first time I’ve come across your books, as I’ve only just got an IPod – went green and traded in old phones to buy it and what a great investment. Have thoroughly enjoyed walking and living with Tanyth, and feeling her rage, calm and hope. I’ve also got loads more stitching done, as I listen while I sew – and the TV is finally OFF.
Downloading everything else now to listen to, so please, more from Tanyth soon, but if she does go wandering again, please bring her back to Frank?
Thanks
Nathan: I listened to Ravenwood twice and have really enjoyed it. I found the book at the Itunes store and have really enjoyed the descriptions; the herbology and Tanyth Fairport . I’m glad that it was complete when I found it– waiting for an installment would have tried my patience !! Thank you cant wait for more…
Just finishing up Ravenwood – love it! Then again, I also loved the Trader’s Tales series. Can’t wait for the next podiobooks in each. Thanks so much for filling my time on my morning and evening commute. Keep up the good work!
Love love love it!!! I want to here more of tannith and frank
I’m in love with these podcasts, please write more.
Awesome storytelling! Hope you have more up your sleeve…
I do, I do.
I love the fact that you are STARTING a woman’s tale at menopause! I look forward to more!
(But I kept worrying they weren’t eating enough vegetables, and that some little boy was going to throw a rock at the raven. If you do a rewrite, consider fleshing out Kurt’s character ‘before’, as I felt nothing for the faceless quarry boy.)
That’s a good point.
I actually set him up to be “faceless” — all the kids are. I wonder if that was the right decision.
