Tanyth Returns

TheHermit_Ebook_CoverAfter months of not hearing much, I finally have news.

For National Novel Writing Month I decided to wrap up the Tanyth Fairport trilogy with The Hermit Of Lammas Wood. I finished the first draft on Nov 20, and just sent off the second draft to the editor a few minutes ago. I’ve put this one on the publication schedule for Feb, 2014.

This is the final book of Tanyth’s first adventure. It’s a kind of origin story for the world of Korlay and to introduce Tanyth Fairport. I’m expecting to visit this world again – perhaps in 2015. I’ll be spending next year in the Deep Dark with Ishmael and a new crew. If you’re interested in where that’s going, see nathanlowell.com or solarclipper.com and I’ll try to get better about keeping things updated.

For those who are waiting for audio, I’m recording Zypheria’s Call this month and writing in January. With any luck at all, I’ll record Hermit in February after I get the ebook published.

Yes, paperbacks are in the works. I’m fussy about them and they take too much time so they get pushed to the back of the queue, but they’re in the works. As I get caught up on backlogged work, I expect to spend more time working in paperback and even hardcover.

Thanks for your patience and support. Stay tuned. There’s more on the way.

Thank you, Nathan. Knowing where things are (as well as your hopes for where they will be) is most appreciated.

Thank you for the update; I’m really looking forward to The Hermit of Lammas Wood! It’s also great to hear that there will be more stories in the works from the world of Korlay.

I enjoyed the two stories of Tanyth and her travels, and am looking forward to The Hermit of Lammas Woods! This is a delightful series, and the story is one for the fireside and time to enjoy it like a good wine or a fine cigar. Thanks for sharing a wonderful tale told in true storyteller fashion.

Hi Mr. Lowell!
I just finished reading Zypheria’s Call and absolutely loved it. I love reading about Tanyth and her adventures. I love the way you bring to the mind everything she sees and experiences. I feel as though I am right there with her.

I just tried downloading The Hermit of Lammas Wood to my kindle and was disappointed that it was not available yet. I can’t wait to read the next book!! I wish there was a way to pre-order it so that it would be sent to my kindle upon availability. Oh well! I will just have to keep checking back.

Thank you again for such wonderful reading material!!!

Take care….. and Happy New Year!!!

Sincerely,
Kim Nistico

I just finished Hermit in November and the editor returned the MS to me on Tuesday. I’ll be working on getting that book out over the weekend so you shouldn’t have to wait too long. 🙂

Really excited to hear that the third Tanyth book is written and that you’re recording the last two for audiobook soon! I saw on your main blog that you didn’t get ZC done when you planned, but I hope it will stay at the head of your queue.

I’ve actually held off reading Zypheria’s for over a year, (too long, I know!) But I’ve really been looking forward to replicating the experience I had listening to Ravenwood, preferably in bed on some lazy, snowy weekend. It’s my favourite of your stories so far… And I usually take sci-fi over fantasy!

Take care. I’ll be sure to toss some dollars in your tip jar on podiobooks.com. Hope you get a good cut from them!

Great timing! I finished Zypheria’s Call today and was ecstatic to find The Hermit ready and awaiting my reading pleasure.

Dear Nathan,
Where or where can I get the audio of your Zypheria’s Call. I am trying desperately to avoid a Cornea transplant through medication so reading is quite difficult for me. I love your books and the audios are a true blessing. I have just finished listening to Ravenwood for the fourth time and am almost finished with South Coast again for the forth time. Then I’ll begin the Trader series again for, I think, the fifth time. It appears that the posts on this page are dated back in 2013. So, if you have the first chapter available to sample when will the full audio be ready and where can I get it? Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with we lesser mortals.

Nathan,
Still waiting patiently for the audio version.
I won’t be the same to read it as I love your portrayal of the characters.
I am a bus driver and audio books are the only way I have time to listen.
Please please record it soon if you can.
I have seen posts about ther tanyth books and am confused. I haven’t been on for a while as been driver training. New career at 49!!! Can you tell me what order they are in please.
Just listened to raven wood for the 9th time.

Thanks.
Cheryl 🙂

The three books are:

Ravenwood
Zypheria’s Call
The Hermit of Lammas Wood

Zypheria’s Call is currently in the booth but progress is slow.

Thank you Nathan. I think I will buy them as e books and then wait for the audio book.
I miss tanyth too much.
Thank you again

Cheryl
